We won't "beet" around the bush: starting a vegetable garden is intimidating, especially for first-time gardeners. This is where our gardening experts at Freckle Farm are here to help!
Spend the afternoon with us to learn how to grow a rockin' vegetable garden right here in Cache Valley. Whether you are into heirloom tomatoes, want to know the best timing for planting sweet corn, or are a complete newbie green thumb, there is something to learn for everyone!
In this workshop all about vegetable gardening, we will learn about:
- What makes the perfect vegetable-growing spot in your garden
- How to plan out your garden before planting
- When and how to plant
- General water and fertilizer requirements
- Harvest methods
Participants will receive an assortment of cool-season vegetable seeds to take home.

For the safety of all guests, class size will be limited. We highly encourage all guests to wear a mask for the safety of yourself and others.
