Rhubarb 'Victoria'-Rheum rhabarbarum

Best known as an ingredient in pies and tarts, rhubarb is a perennial with edible celery-like stalks. Plump, fiber-free stalks are rich red and a sweet, only mildly, tart flavor. Disease resistant and cold hardy. 

Because it is a perennial, choose a permanent spot in your garden. Stalks should be allowed to grow two full seasons before harvesting. Grows best in full sun
