Houseplant Propagation for Beginners-June 25th

If you love growing your own houseplants, at some point that feeling evolves into wanting to MAKE more of them. Whether for your own house or to share with others this hands-on workshop will take you through the magical world of plant propagation. For this lecture, we will be focusing on propagation by leaf cuttings, stem cuttings, and propagation by division. 

What you will learn from this workshop:

  • Introduction to popular houseplants that respond well to propagation 
  • Differences between leaf cuttings, stem cuttings, and division propagation and when to use each method
  • Environmental requirements for successful propagation 
  • How to create new houseplants from existing plant material

All participants will be able to test their new-found knowledge and take home 4 cuttings of their choosing. This workshop will require standing. Please wear comfortable shoes.  

Covid 19 precautions:
For the safety of all guests, class size will be reduced to only 15 attendees. Time will be allotted to sanitize between sessions. We highly encourage all guests to wear a mask for the safety of yourself and others. Disposable gloves will be provided.
