Talk about a low-maintenance lady! She grows slow but hey, all good things come to those who wait right? Originally from southern China, folklore says that this plant will bring good luck and fortune to all who take care of it. Her small, rounded leaves look like large, green coins. Pilea's are treasured for their unique look. We do our best to prepare our plants for the long and bumpy journey to your home.

Keeping this girl happy: Place in bright light. Water once each week (count slowly to 'four' while pouring water). To keep her looking her best, rotate a quarter turn with each watering. Make sure that the top 1 inch of soil is dry before you water. Feed monthly with a general-purpose fertilizer labeled for houseplants between March and October.

Companion Plants: Calathea, Spider Plant, Anthurium
