10:00am-12:30pm

Bring your flower dreams to life and start a cut flower garden right in your own backyard. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to plant, grow, and harvest beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables all season long. This is a great introductory workshop for beginners and will offer a few new tricks for seasoned growers.

During the workshop we will be covering:

  • Choosing a gardening location
  • How to design your garden layout
  • Preparing your soil for planting
  • Selecting varieties for our climate
  • Timing of planting

New this year!! We are offering two different kit options. Both kits will include tried-and-true flower performers that are perfect for our local climate. The new varietal choices feature a range of color and textures giving you showstopping blooms, dramatic accents, and fabulous fillers. These kits are an excellent selection for anyone with at least 120 growing days. Both kits will include planting instructions and designed garden map.

The seed kit is perfect for the DIY'er that wants to directly sow seeds in their own garden soil. This kit will be available for shipping or pickup.

The starter kit will include plants grown by our own Freckle Farm team. Each flower variety will come in a jumbo 4 pack for you to plant at the recommended time taking the work out of starting seeds yourself. This kit will be available for pickup only.
