We all need to lean on someone from time to time, and your plants are no different. Some of our favorite houseplants like monsteras, philodendrons, and pothos grow up so fast! And we mean “up” literally. Aroid plants naturally vine, but not everybody has the space for them to wind around their house. This is where moss poles come in handy! Moss poles and aerial roots can trigger the development of larger, more mature leaves. In this fun hands-on and educational workshop, we will be making moss poles and learning about their benefits.
Each moss pole will include:
- Sturdy, coated, mesh wire (measures about 8 x 36 inch)
- Pre-moistened sphagnum moss
- Secure fasteners to hold your creation together
- 10-inch nursery pot
$24.99 per person
This workshop will be a make & take. We will provide all materials and instructions needed to build and care for your own moss pole. We even clean up the mess! You are welcome to bring your own 6” climbing houseplant or you can purchase one while you are here for the workshop. As always, our friendly staff members are available to help you select the perfect climber for your home. We will also be aiding all of our guests in planting their plants and moss poles to get their climbers off on the right foot.
